As COVID-19 continues to evolve nationwide, and “safer at home” policies take over Los Angeles County for non-essential workers, LPT remains open to serve our community. Outpatient rehabilitation is an essential healthcare service provided and is encouraged to remain in operation while following CDC guidelines to keep our staff and patients safe.
We offer office visit treatments as well as telehealth visits at this time. Due to CDC guideline requirements, please contact our office to schedule your physical therapy appointments as our schedules vary. We create schedules that help provide a safe environment for both our staff and patients.
We will screen patients scheduled for all in office visits. Please be prepared to answer screening protocols as we would like to make sure that patients do not enter our facility with any symptoms that may fit the criteria of COVID-19. (Fever, travelled to other countries, have been on a cruise, COVID-19 contact)
If you fit the criteria that makes you eligible to come in for an in office visit, we assure you that the clinic is taking all the extra precautions to provide a safe environment. We have limited scheduled patients as we practice social distancing per CDC guideline requirements.
Sanitizing products and sinks to wash your hands with disinfectant soaps are available throughout our office. All treatment areas are sanitized with high grade sanitizing products recommended for clinic use after every treatment.
In any case you have a pre existing condition that makes you what we call a “high risk” (Diabetes, COPD, immune compromised, kidney disease, heart disease, etc.) patient we would like to offer our telehealth visits with one of our licensed professionals. Call our office and we are happy to assist in helping set you up at home for your next physical therapy appointment.
Please STAY safe and we will get through this together!
